HL 6050DN Toner, Affordable High Quality Laser Printing For Small Business

Brother has the reputation of providing bargain basement products for the consumer. In a reevaluation of their marketing concepts, Brother has produced the Brother HL 6050DN Cartridge, a monochrome laser printer that can compete competitively with comparable printers produced by other manufacturers.

Brother provides instant networkability in the HL-6050DN. An Ethernet 10/100 interface allows the HL-6050DN to be included into the network seamlessly and transparently. One of the major advantages of the Brother HL 6050DN Printer Cartridge is its capacity. While competitors only offer 250 sheet paper trays of letter sized stock, the HL6050DN provides 500 sheet (full ream) paper trays that have the ability to hold either letter or legal sized paper. A single paper tray is provided with the printer and an optional second paper tray permits the user to place letter sized paper in one tray and legal sized in the second. Inside The HL 2070N Toner Cartridge

If you need an inexpensive personal laser printer with has a nice sharing option built into it then the Brother HL 2070N printer is the perfect choice. It can either be connected to your existing home network or directly to a computer. The printer prints excellent text quality that is not only crisp but also well defined.

You don’t have to worry about setting up this laser printer because its very simple. Weighing in at 14.3 it is easy to carry around. It has a built in network configuration system at can get you up and printing in minutes. However in our experience we found that this printer is really a variation of the previous HL 2040. It has an identical print engine and small sheet capacity. Like the HL 2040 you can choose to feed your printer manually.

We would like to add that this printer is not the HL 2040 with just a network option added because as a matter of fact it has more memory. The print job is also processed at the printer rather than your computer working on the print job.

The HL 2070N Printer Cartridge is quite fast and turned out a decent page per minute. Since laser printers are all about speed and quality text this one surely does the job it is supposed to. Photo printing on this printer is however slower than other printers tested and at high resolution it slows down significantly. This printer is not a very good graphics printer and shouldn’t be used to print high resolution graphic images. Text on the other hand is remarkable and very clear at four points.

This printer seems to also have an awful paper handling bug because it manages to curl the pages slightly. This however has been fixed to some extend on future models. If you are a person that requires a good text printer then this printer is surely worth considering. However hold off the decision if you want to print high resolution graphics.

At the price level this printer is set it does a pretty good job at doing what laser printers are expected to do i.e. print text. You can still use it to print graphics but don’t expect any remarkable results. What it can do is print fine monochrome graphics which most text documents would include.

I loved the capacity of the HL 2070N Printer Cartridge that came with the printer. It is large enough to give you a decent running time. You won’t need to run around looking for a replacement in a few days. In most small offices the toner should last a little over a few months.

If Brother HL 2070N Toner Cartridge is used to print graphics it might slightly lower the life of the toner possibly cut in it in half. This is another reason not to use this printer to print any kind of high end graphics and just let it stick to printing text.

Brother HL 1850 Toner Cartridge With Blazing Fast Speeds

The Brother HL 1850 Cartridge is cost effective and has made it easier for small and home offices to own a high quality laser printer. This brother printer is cheap but it is also very fast it’s speed rivals many of those high end printers in the market. The printer has almost endless expandability which means that it can be adapted to the requirements of most offices. However we feel that the printer should have a larger paper capacity.

This printer has made it possible for office managers to just dump their old printer and get a new one. The affordable workgroup features are enough reason to dump your old one for this shiny new printer. We liked the fact that the printer worked straight out of the box without extensive configuration.

The guide that comes along with the printer is well illustrated and makes setting Brother HL 1850 printer toner up easy. The printer can be connected either via the provided USB ports or via the sans cable. The cable accompanies the unit so you don’t need to purchase one. The front of the laser printer has a built in three color display which gives clear readouts. The four buttons provided allows you to pick and change the paper type.

The user guide that comes along with the unit on the CD Rom is in PDF format and includes everything you need to know about keeping your printer trouble free and running. Making your printer a member of the local network is as simple as connecting it to the built-in-Ethernet ports and adding an extra 16 MB of ram to the printer.

Now the HL’s paper handling has its ups and its downs. One disappointment is the printer’s paper capacity. The printer can just hold around 350 sheets of paper because it has one 250 sheet tray and one 100 sheet tray. For another two hundred bucks you can purchase another 250 sheet stray bringing your over all capacity to 600 sheets. However its still not enough as compared to the other printers that can hold over a thousand sheets of paper.

On the up side this printer has a great integrated duplexer which is blazing fast and requires no intervention from you. The drivers that accompanies the printer makes it possible for you to chose between either flipping the paper to the left or the right or to the bottom edge. The preset settings let you choose and adjust your printer for stuff such as paper type and size as well as print quality.

You also get a reset button on each tab with means if you don’t like the changes you made you can reset it to its defaults. However there is a lack of a universal reset button which in my opinion should be there. This printer is pretty fast at 19pps.

At 19 pages per second this printer is really fast. As compared to many of the other printers on the market this one does a good job of printing text and graphics. The Brother HL 1850 printer toner has a good capacity which allows it to last much longer than others.
