Paper handling- Paper handling is very efficient, not to mention fast via the 500 sheet front cassette and 100 sheet multi-tray. All popular paper types are accepted by the device including plain, colour, bond, transparencies, labels and envelopes. Letter and legal are unfortunately the only compatible paper sizes accepted. The machine boasts with a rather large media cap of 600 sheets. Warm-up time is short, not even worth a mention at 1second. First copy or print out is at an impressive 13 seconds
Quality- General print quality is unbeatable. Text reproduction is immaculate with clear character outlines no matter what size the fonts. Smudges and blemishes are non-existent. Photo and graphics quality is on the brink of excellent. Unfortunately, consumers prefer investing in colour instead of black and white printers. Prints are produced at resolutions of either 600×600 or 2400×600 dpi depending on the quality preferences. Be sure to only use ImageClass D660 printer cartridge with this product.
Con’s- A major problem is the printers’ paper jam tendency. You will have to unjam and restart every time this happens, wasting a lot of time. Reliability is serious compromised by this problem. If time is limited and print quantity substantial in your print environment rather steer clear from this device as it has the potential of driving you crazy within a short period of time.

Connections- Both Parallel and USB connections come standard with the device, making it great for dated and outdated systems. Unfortunately, Windows OS’s are the only operators supported by printer, limiting the user base significantly by the rejection of Linux and Apple as well as Windows Vista OS’s. Remember to order your USB cable well in advance as it is not included with your investment.

A wonderful feature to the device is Single Cartridge System, making toner, development unit and drum replacement possible with a single replacement. Toner retails for about US$160.00.
