Seriously Cool Spy Gadgets

Saturday, October 31st, 2009

With the latest Bond film being planned for release next year, here are some great spy gadgets that will satisfy anyones spy fantasies. Shame they don’t come cheap though.

Land Rover Defender 10 (£67,850) - This car may not look wonderful, however, it could take a punch, or anything you want to throw at it really. The monster of a car has armour plating on the rear, front and sides all capable of withstanding 5.56 mm and also 7.62mm rounds. Plus, as standard the car comes with bullet proof glass, providing you with that little extra protection during the school run. If you have any worries about mines or grenades on the roads, there’s nothing to worry about because the bottom of the car will protect you from both.

Tornado Night Vision Goggles Generation 2 (£3,162.50) - Although they may cost a little bit more than any other goggles you have bought before, these ones will prevent you from falling over things in the night. If you like boys toys, Tornado Googles are for you. These goggles come with 2 eye pieces and one night vision tube, they really are state of the art. Also, you can get a variety of lenses, some even zoom in. All of this runs on 2 AA batteries. The perfect Christmas gifts?

Taser C2 (£248) - This one of those gadgets for non UK residents really as it is illegal in the UK, unless you’re a policeman. The Taser C2 allows you to fire a C2 cartiridge at your target zapping them with electricity, giving you time to get away. The lithium battery inside is good for 50 uses, it even fits in your pocket, so you can go taser crazy.

Spy Camera Glasses (£89.99) - Some covert cameras now, they are normal sun glasses, however, these come with a 1.3 megapixel camera built in. The sunglasses come with 1GB of memory, capable of storing up to 1000 sneaky pics. That’s not all, you can listen to your favorite music while stalking someone with the built in earphones.

Every James Bond wannabe should have some of these gadgets. The only problem is that you won’t look like 007 driving in the Land Rover.
