As a college student, it is very important to have a personal printer. This is the perfect device to help me with the countless papers I need for immediate submissions. So I chose the Samsung SCX-4016 printer for the efficiency and convenience it can provide. It is on the minor details, though, that I fail to think through. I often find myself out of toner and unable to find the exact cartridge for my printer. These situations are stressful but I did learn something important. I discovered the compatibility of various cartridges to different computers. For my SCX-4016, the SCX 4216D3 printer toner was the best replacement.
This Samsung SCX replacement toner is carefully designed to cater to the need of quality prints. All the pages I’ve printed using the Samsung toner have came out really well. All of the characters on the paper are sharp and crisp. The high quality toner creates a smooth overall look. I love that it is consistent with its quality. There was hardly any difference on the first and last page I printed.
The toner cartridge only comes in black which is specific for laser printers like mine. It weighs about 2.3 lbs, which is not surprising considering it has the dimensions of 12.9 x 6.6 x 4.6 in. The Samsung printer cartridge packs a lot of power as it can print up to 3,000 monochrome pages. The other printers it is compatible with are the Samsung SCX-4116, SF-560, SF-750, SCX-755P, SCX-4216F and SCX-565P.
There are cases of fake printer cartridges nowadays, which is not the same as generic toner. Instead of getting a high-quality product, you end up with a cheap imitation. I can only imagine the frustration of paying for something like that. This also won’t bode well with your work. Avoid being a victim by shopping at reputable dealers.
The security label is quite distinct in appearance. You should see it on the box of the cartridge. It will catch your eye because of its ability to change color. The label color change is from clear to cyan. If you look a little closer, you’ll see embossed characters. These also change color ranging from gold, red and blue using different angles. What I do is to feel the texture to verify further.
Now, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out how to change the cartridge. I’ve done this many times with no accidents whatsoever. First is to remove the toner cartridge from the pack. Roll the cartridge gently but thoroughly for maximum copies. You can then open the printer’s front cabinet to remove the old cartridge. Slide the new cartridge in until it’s locked in place. You can then close the front cabinet. The printer should be good to go.
Right now, Samsung is making an effort to make a greener planet. They do this by recycling old cartridges. This is a good option in putting your used cartridge to better use. But, of course, you always have the option of recycling the cartridges yourself.
I rarely get problems with Samsung 4216D3 printer toner. Locating Samsung cartridge, especially online, has had the great benefit of saving me money, as I’ve found great prices on laser toner cartridges.
